The Carolina Forest Authors’ Club exists to provide support for writers’ efforts to publish literary works.

Membership Guidelines:

  1. Intention to complete and publish a literary work.
  2. Regular attendance at bi-monthly meetings. (Due to COVID-19, meetings are held via Zoom.)
  3. Contribute to the support of each writer’s efforts.
  4. Read and give constructive feedback to each writer’s work submitted for review.
  5. Be prepared to discuss submitted work at meetings.

Membership List:

  1. Each member will receive a current membership list. This information is private, for use within the group, and may not be shared or used for financial gain.
  2. As new members join and others drop out, the list will be updated.
  3. Please make sure you update your email list, so you’re not sending manuscripts to inactive members.

Submission Requirements:

  1. Submit work via email.
  2. No minimum or maximum on submission word count.

  • Microsoft Word file for Windows or MAC (.doc or .docx)
  • Times New Roman 12 point
    • Line spacing 1½
  • Header
    • Book (Working) title with copyright symbol ©
    • Author’s name (if you’re using a pen name, include both names)
    • Date
  • Footer
    • Page number
